veradis.ai is the provenance network — the infrastructure that verifies what's real, and pays the institutions whose records prove it. We started where the record is hardest to fake: museums, regiments, archives. We're building toward every real thing.
Museums, maker archives, regiments, registries. We turn their collections into a living, connected, earning asset — proven, kept current, and paid for every answer it powers.
The people who want to know where they came from. We weave the scattered threads — an object, a photograph, a name — into a story you can follow, keep, and pass on.
Collectors, marketplaces, insurers — and the AI systems now transacting on their own. They ask one question, is this real?, and get a scored, sourced verdict in minutes.
A medal here, a photograph there, a name in a ledger a country away — our heritage is fragmented by design. veradis brings new technology to old records and finds the connections that were always there. A family rediscovers its story. An institution proves its truth. What was scattered becomes whole.
Separate collections. Each one a silo.
I've spent three decades selling software to the world's enterprises, starting at Microsoft — a technology optimist always drawn to the frontier, and with prior CEO experience, and the lessons learned from it. I served seven years as an infantry officer with the Seaforth Highlanders.
My love of history started as a child — Parks Canada historic sites, and my first visit to the Royal Ontario Museum. The genesis for veradis was personal: piecing my grandfather's service history back together from scattered fragments, and seeing what graph technology and machine learning could make of them. Our heritage is our identity, whether we hold it as an individual, a family, a collector, or an institution. Keeping it — and weaving it together — is why I'm building this.
The museums, regiments and archives whose records are the ground truth. Five institutions’ collections are live on the platform today; the Seaforth Highlanders Foundation is our founding partner.
Canadian and Swiss AI infrastructure, so records are verified in-country and never leave the institution that holds them.
The method is built to be checked. Every Provenance Confidence Score cites the records behind it — open to the historians and institutions who know them best.
