When you request a verification or appraisal report we collect the object information you submit (photographs, references, serials, declared provenance), your email address, and payment confirmation from our payment processor. When you browse, we collect standard server logs. We do not run advertising trackers.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.
To produce and deliver the report you paid for, to maintain the record it creates, and to respond when you contact us. Verification records contribute to the Provenance Network's index; personal identity is not published with them. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your submissions to train third-party AI models.
Contributing institutions' catalogues are governed by their contributor agreements, not this policy. The standing rule: enriched in place, returned, never extracted, never used to train models.
Reports and their supporting records are retained because a provenance record's value is its continuity. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time at hello@veradis.ai. We comply with Swiss (nFADP), EU (GDPR), and Canadian (PIPEDA) data protection law as applicable.
